Description
When the dhaak starts before Ashtami, you know pujo has arrived. This set carries that beat: a big openwork dhol pendant in dokra, cast by hand using the lost-wax method, one of Bengal’s oldest metal crafts. Each dhol is cast from its own wax model, so no two are ever quite the same.
It hangs from a thick mustard-yellow braided cotton cord, finished with red thread knots at the pendant, and comes with a pair of matching dokra cone jhumkas.
