Chakra Terracotta Necklace Set

Description

Some pieces whisper, and this one hums. At its heart is a round terracotta chakra: clay shaped by hand into a swirl that spins out from a tiny spiral, fired to a deep matte black and ringed with little clay beads like a garland. We picked it up from Santiniketan, where clay work is part of everyday life.

It hangs from a soft bunch of black cotton threads, with two warm brown beads at the pendant, and comes with a pair of matching round terracotta earrings with a flower-and-spiral centre and a beaded border.
