Dokra
Dokra is metal casting the oldest way: a wax model, a clay mould, molten brass. Every pendant keeps the marks of the hand that made it, the reason dokra never looks mass-made.

The lost-wax method means each mould is used once, so every dokra piece is one of a kind. Our sets pair a cast brass pendant (a dhol, or little figures) with matching earrings, on a tie-up cord.
How to wear it: dokra looks best against plain handloom, white, mustard or black. It is heavier than terracotta, so it sits beautifully as a single statement piece.
Care: wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store it in an airtight pouch to slow tarnishing. A little tamarind paste brings back the shine on plain brass.
Cast in the Bankura dokra tradition, handpicked from Santiniketan.
